A "coming out" often appears as a defining moment in the biographies of queer people, portrayed in literature and film as either a risky rupture or a liberating transition. But can there be multiple coming outs in one’s life, and what traces do they leave behind? This festival explored how coming out intersects with narratives of self-discovery, activism, and identity – to question the traditional concept and propose the idea of “inviting in". How does literature – from fiction to poetry – reflect and shape these complex experiences?
